The Nexen Tire Company was established in 1942 in Korea under the name Heung-A Tire Company. Nexen Tire was recognized as the first Korean tire company in 1956. Nexen Tire began focusing on radial tires and formed an alliance with OHTSU Tire & Rubber to further develop production capabilities in 1985. Today, NEXEN is proud to have one of the world's largest and most advanced tire manufacturing facilities with even more plans for growth.
